Lenovo ThinkPad T460 T440S T450 E440 Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your Lenovo ThinkPad T460, T440S, T450, or E440 with this genuine-fit Lenovo ThinkPad T460 T440S T450 E440 Keyboard replacement (FRU 04Y2717), non-backlit variant. A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. These T-series and E-series models share the same chassis and keyboard well, so this single FRU covers the whole family without needing to hunt down a model-specific part.

Key Features & Benefits

• Direct Fit – matches the original T460/T440S/T450/E440 keyboard well exactly

• Full Key Travel – restores normal typing feel
• Genuine FRU Match – built to Lenovo’s 04Y2717 pinout and mounting points for a factory-accurate fit

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the Lenovo ThinkPad T460 T440S T450 E440 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

Every unit is checked key by key for actuation force and full travel before it ships, so there are no dead keys or spots that need extra pressure to register. The frame is verified for correct screw-hole alignment and flex against genuine T460/T440S/T450/E440 chassis, since a poor fit is what usually causes cheap replacements to rattle or wear out the ribbon connector early. ThinkPad users who value the brand’s typing feel will notice this replacement holds that same tactile, confident keystroke.

Compatibility

Fits Lenovo ThinkPad T460, T440S, T450, and E440 laptops sharing FRU 04Y2717 (non-backlit). Confirm your exact model before ordering.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for professionals running these Lenovo ThinkPad T-series laptops who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. It also suits IT departments maintaining fleets of older ThinkPads, budget-conscious buyers who chose the E440 variant, and long-time ThinkPad loyalists who want to keep a favorite machine running rather than switch brands.
