HP ProBook 450 G0-G2/455 G1-G2/470 G0-G1 Keyboard, Non-Backlit (P/N 721953-001)

HP ProBook 450 G0-G3 455 470 Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your HP ProBook 450 G0-G2, 455 G1-G2, or 470 G0-G1 with this genuine-fit HP ProBook 450 G0-G3 455 470 Keyboard replacement (P/N 721953-001). A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. HP kept this keyboard well unchanged across three ProBook lines for several generations, which is why one part number covers such a wide model spread.

Key Features & Benefits

• Direct Fit – matches the original 450/455/470 keyboard well exactly
• Brand New – not refurbished
• US Layout – standard QWERTY English keyboard
• Full Key Travel – restores normal typing feel
• Business-Grade Keycaps – firmer keycap material typical of the ProBook line, built for high daily typing volumes
• Correctly Keyed Ribbon – the flex cable only seats one way, cutting the risk of a reversed connection during install
• Consistent Key Feel – every key is checked for uniform actuation force before packing

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the HP ProBook 450 G0-G3 455 470 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

Because ProBook 450, 455, and 470 chassis share the same keyboard tray and screw pattern across these generations, we confirm the exact part number against your model before dispatch. This avoids the common issue of a keyboard that looks correct but sits slightly proud at one edge, and it means the unit you receive should drop in flush with even key spacing across every row.

Compatibility

Fits HP ProBook 450 G0, G1, G2, 455 G0, G1, and 470 G0, G1 laptops sharing part number 721953-001. Confirm your exact model before ordering.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for professionals running HP ProBook 450/455/470 laptops who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. This fits well for corporate IT departments maintaining fleets of ProBook units, freelancers and consultants who cannot afford typing errors during client work, and accountants or data-entry staff who rely on a full numeric keypad every day. It is also a practical stock item for computer repair shops that regularly service ProBook 450/455/470 laptops brought in by walk-in clients.
