HP 15-AC 250 G4 Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your HP 15-AC, 15-AF, or 250-256 G4 series laptop with this genuine-fit HP 15-AC 250 G4 Keyboard replacement (P/N PK131EM3A00). A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. This unit is one of our most requested replacement parts for this HP series, since the AC/AF/250-256 family shares the same keyboard bracket and connector layout across several sub-models sold in Kenya.

Key Features & Benefits

• Direct Fit – matches the original 15-AC/AF/250-256 G4 keyboard well exactly
• Brand New – not refurbished
• US Layout – standard QWERTY English keyboard
• Full Key Travel – restores normal typing feel
• Correct Ribbon Orientation – the flex cable is keyed to plug in only one way, reducing the risk of a reversed connection during fitting
• Matte Finish Keycaps – resist finger oils and stay legible after months of daily use
• Pre-Tested Switches – every key is pressed and checked for consistent actuation before the unit leaves our workshop

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the HP 15-AC 250 G4 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

Because HP reused this chassis and keyboard well across several regional SKUs, we cross-check the part number and screw hole pattern against 15-AC, 15-AF, and 250 G4/256 G4 boards before packing each order. This extra step catches the rare mismatched batch and means the keyboard you receive should seat flush against the palm rest with no visible gaps, rattling keys, or uneven rows once installed.

Compatibility

Fits HP 15-AC, 15-AF, and 250-256 G4 series laptops sharing part number PK131EM3A00. Confirm your exact model before ordering.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for home and office users running HP 15-AC/AF/250-256 G4 laptops who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. It also suits students who rely on a single laptop for coursework and cannot afford downtime, as well as small offices and cyber cafes that keep a spare HP 15 series unit in rotation and want a stocked replacement on hand. Repair technicians servicing walk-in customers will also find this part convenient for same-day turnaround jobs.
