HP ProBook X360 11 G1-G4 EE Keyboard, Non-Backlit (P/N 918554-001)

HP ProBook X360 11 G1-G4 EE Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your HP ProBook X360 11 G1-G4 EE with this genuine-fit HP ProBook X360 11 G1-G4 EE Keyboard replacement (P/N 918554-001). A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. The X360 11 EE is HP’s rugged education convertible, built to survive drops and daily handling in classrooms, and its keyboard takes a lot more physical abuse than a typical office laptop — spilled drinks, jammed keys, and snapped hinges on the 2-in-1 fold are the most common reasons students end up needing a replacement.

Key Features & Benefits

• Direct Fit – matches the original X360 11 G1-G4 EE keyboard well exactly
• Brand New – not refurbished
• US Layout – standard QWERTY English keyboard
• Full Key Travel – restores normal typing feel
• Reinforced Frame Match – built to the same rugged spec as the factory board, so it holds up to classroom handling
• Correct Ribbon Connector – factory pinout and orientation for a clean, direct plug-in swap
• Spill-Resistant Design – shares the sealed key-well design HP uses across the EE education line

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the HP ProBook X360 11 G1-G4 EE Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

Each unit is checked key-by-key before it ships to confirm every character registers cleanly, with particular attention to the space bar and arrow cluster, which see the heaviest wear on shared school devices. The frame is also tested for a flush fit against the X360’s convertible hinge assembly, since a loose keyboard bed on this chassis can affect how smoothly the screen folds back into tablet mode.

Compatibility

Fits HP ProBook X360 11 EE G1, G2, G3, and G4 laptops sharing part number 918554-001. Confirm your exact model before ordering.

HP kept the same keyboard well across four generations of the X360 11 EE, which is why this one part number covers G1 through G4, but the non-EE (non-rugged) ProBook X360 11 models use a different part number and will not fit. Check the label under the battery or on the base of your unit to confirm you have an EE (Education Edition) model before ordering.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for schools and students running the rugged HP ProBook X360 11 EE convertible who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. It’s especially useful for school IT departments managing fleets of these devices across multiple classrooms, parents replacing a keyboard damaged by a spill or drop, and computer repair technicians who service education-sector laptops and need a dependable part number on hand. Because the X360 11 EE folds into tablet mode, a damaged keyboard also affects touch and stylus use, making a proper fix worthwhile rather than a workaround.
