HP ProBook 450 G6 Keyboard, Non-Backlit (P/N V181646BS1)

HP ProBook 450 G6 Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your HP ProBook 450 G6 with this genuine-fit HP ProBook 450 G6 Keyboard replacement (P/N V181646BS1). A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. The 450 G6 introduced a slightly reworked keyboard deck compared to earlier ProBook 450 generations, so it is important to match this exact part number rather than an older one.

Key Features & Benefits

• Direct Fit – matches the original ProBook 450 G6 keyboard well exactly
• Brand New – not refurbished
• US Layout – standard QWERTY English keyboard
• Full Key Travel – restores normal typing feel
• Business-Grade Keycaps – firmer keycap construction suited to heavy office typing
• Correctly Keyed Ribbon – the flex cable seats only in the correct orientation, reducing installation errors
• Pre-Fitting Checks – screw holes and clip points are verified against the G6 chassis before packing

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the HP ProBook 450 G6 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

We test each unit for key travel consistency and connector fit before it leaves our workshop, since a keyboard that looks correct but has a slightly different ribbon pinout can cause dead keys or ghost inputs once installed. Because the 450 G6 keyboard well differs from the 450 G5 and 450 G7, we do not substitute parts across generations even when they appear visually similar.

Compatibility

Fits HP ProBook 450 G6 laptops, part number V181646BS1. Confirm your exact model before ordering.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for professionals running HP ProBook 450 G6 laptops who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. This suits corporate users whose G6 unit has spilled liquid or worn keycaps, students and freelancers who type for long hours daily and cannot tolerate sticking keys, and IT departments managing a batch of 450 G6 laptops that need standardized repairs. Repair technicians who regularly service this specific ProBook generation will also appreciate having a verified, ready-to-fit part on hand.
