HP Pavilion 15-BS Keyboard, Non-Backlit (Model TPN-C129/TPN-C130)

HP Pavilion 15-BS Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your HP Pavilion 15-BS series laptop (Model TPN-C129/TPN-C130) with this genuine-fit HP Pavilion 15-BS Keyboard replacement. A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. The 15-BS is one of the best-selling Pavilion models in Kenya, and with years of daily use it’s common for keycaps to wear smooth, for certain keys to stop registering, or for a spill to knock out a whole section of the board — a full keyboard swap resolves all of these cleanly.

Key Features & Benefits

• Direct Fit – matches the original 15-BS keyboard well exactly
• Brand New – not refurbished
• US Layout – standard QWERTY English keyboard
• Full Key Travel – restores normal typing feel
• Matching Deck Finish – grey-black frame matches the original 15-BS palm rest for a factory look after fitting
• Correct Ribbon Connector – factory pin count and orientation covering both TPN-C129 and TPN-C130 board revisions
• Full-Size Number Pad – retains the same numeric keypad layout as the original 15-inch Pavilion board

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the HP Pavilion 15-BS Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

Every board is checked key-by-key before dispatch, including the numeric keypad which sees less use but is often overlooked on cheaper replacement boards. We also verify the frame sits flush across the full 15-inch width, since a slightly warped wide-format keyboard is the most common cause of an uneven typing feel after a self-install.

Compatibility

Fits HP Pavilion 15-BS series laptops (Model TPN-C129/TPN-C130). Confirm your exact model before ordering.

HP used two closely related board revisions, TPN-C129 and TPN-C130, across the 15-BS range depending on manufacturing batch, and this replacement is built to fit both. Check the model sticker on the base of your laptop to confirm you have a 15-BS unit before ordering, since the visually similar 15-BW and 15-CB series use different keyboard mounts.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for home users and students running HP Pavilion 15-BS laptops who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. It’s a good match for students and freelancers who type for hours daily, families who use the laptop as a shared home device, and repair shops that keep this part in stock because the 15-BS is one of the most common models brought in for service in Kenya. It also suits anyone whose keyboard failed after a liquid spill and needs a straightforward, tested replacement.
