HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2-G4 Keyboard, Non-Backlit (P/N 904507-001 family)

HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2-G4 Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2, G3, or G4 convertible with this genuine-fit HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2-G4 Keyboard replacement (P/N 904507-001 family). A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. As a premium 2-in-1 business ultrabook, the X360 1030 gets folded into tablet mode constantly, which puts extra strain on the keyboard hinge area and ribbon cable compared to a standard clamshell laptop, making key failure and connector wear more common over time.

Key Features & Benefits

• Direct Fit – matches the original X360 1030 G2-G4 keyboard well exactly
• Brand New – not refurbished
• US Layout – standard QWERTY English keyboard
• Full Key Travel – restores normal typing feel
• Low-Profile Precision Fit – matches the slim keyboard deck HP uses on the X360 1030’s premium chassis
• Correct Ribbon Connector – factory pinout across the 904507-001 part family, covering the G2 through G4 revisions
• Convertible-Rated Hinge Clearance – sized to sit correctly against the 360-degree hinge assembly without interference

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2-G4 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

Every unit is checked key-by-key before dispatch, and because the X360 1030 is a slim ultrabook chassis with tight tolerances, we also confirm the keyboard sits perfectly flush so it doesn’t interfere with the trackpad or the fold action when the screen rotates into tent or tablet mode. This attention to fit matters more on convertibles than on standard laptops, where a slightly proud edge can catch during folding.

Compatibility

Fits HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2, G3, and G4 convertible laptops sharing part number 904507-001 family. Confirm your exact model before ordering.

HP kept the keyboard well largely consistent across the G2, G3, and G4 revisions of the X360 1030 while making minor internal connector updates within the 904507-001 part family, so a small number of units may need a specific sub-revision. Check the label on the base of your laptop against your generation before ordering, or send us your exact model number and we’ll confirm the match.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for professionals running the HP EliteBook X360 1030 convertible who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. It’s well suited to executives and consultants who use the tablet/tent modes for presentations, IT departments managing a fleet of EliteBook convertibles issued to staff, and technicians repairing these premium units for corporate clients who can’t afford extended downtime. It’s also the right fix for professionals who’ve noticed intermittent keys after frequent folding rather than a single traumatic event.
