HP EliteBook 850 G5-G6 755 G5 Keyboard Replacement, Non-Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your HP EliteBook 850 G5, 850 G6, 755 G5, or ZBook 15u G5-G6 with this genuine-fit HP EliteBook 850 G5-G6 755 G5 Keyboard replacement (P/N L12999-001). A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. This refreshed 15-inch chassis followed the G3/G4 generation and is shared across HP’s business EliteBook line and the ZBook 15u mobile workstation, so the same genuine-fit keyboard serves office laptops and engineering workstations alike.

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the HP EliteBook 850 G5-G6 755 G5 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

Every unit is tested key-by-key before dispatch, and the frame is checked for a flush, rock-free seat across the full 15-inch chassis width. On ZBook 15u workstation units, which often run for long hours under heavier daily use, we pay extra attention to consistent key actuation force so the replacement doesn’t feel noticeably different from the original factory board.

Compatibility

Fits HP EliteBook 850 G5/G6, EliteBook 755 G5, and ZBook 15u G5-G6 laptops sharing part number L12999-001. Confirm your exact model before ordering.

HP kept this keyboard well consistent across the G5 and G6 refresh of the 850, 755, and ZBook 15u lines, but it differs from the earlier G3/G4 generation covered by a different part number. Check the system label on the base of your laptop for “L12999-001” or your exact G5/G6 model before ordering.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for professionals running HP EliteBook 850 G5-G6/755 G5 laptops who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. It’s a good fit for corporate teams issued the 850/755 as standard business laptops, engineers and analysts running demanding software on a ZBook 15u workstation, and IT departments that want one dependable part number across a mixed EliteBook/ZBook fleet. It also suits repair shops that service both office and workstation-class HP laptops from the same parts stock.
