Dell Latitude 5300/5310 Keyboard, Backlit (P/N 2TR2K)

Dell Latitude 5300 5310 Keyboard Replacement, Backlit

Fix a broken or unresponsive keyboard on your Dell Latitude 5300 or 5310 with this genuine-fit Dell Latitude 5300 5310 Keyboard replacement (P/N 2TR2K), backlit variant. A direct drop-in fit built to the original factory specification. These compact 13-inch business laptops are common in Kenyan corporate fleets, and Dell used the same keyboard tray across both the 5300 and the slightly refreshed 5310.

Key Features & Benefits

• Backlit Keys – type comfortably in low light
• Direct Fit – matches the original Latitude 5300/5310 keyboard well exactly
• Brand New – not refurbished
• US Layout – standard QWERTY English keyboard
• Even Backlight Distribution – LEDs are checked for consistent brightness before packing
• Correctly Keyed Ribbon – the flex cable inserts only in the correct orientation, reducing fitting errors
• Compact 13-inch Fit – sized precisely for the 5300/5310 frame rather than a generic Latitude substitute

Performance & Reliability

Built specifically for the Dell Latitude 5300 5310 Keyboard well, this replacement is fit-tested before listing to guarantee a precise match and reliable everyday typing performance.

We test the backlight circuit and confirm even key travel across the full deck before any unit ships, since the compact 13-inch layout on the 5300/5310 leaves less tolerance for a poorly fitted keyboard than larger 14 or 15-inch Latitudes. Each keyboard is also checked against the correct screw and clip pattern for this specific chassis pair.

Compatibility

Fits Dell Latitude 5300 and 5310 laptops sharing part number 2TR2K (backlit). Confirm your exact model before ordering.

Safety & Quality Standards

Every keyboard is inspected for correct pinout, key travel, and frame fit before shipping, protecting your motherboard connector from damage during installation.

Easy Installation

Power off and unplug the laptop, remove the battery, release the keyboard retaining screws or clips, disconnect the ribbon cable, and fit the new keyboard by reversing the steps. Any laptop repair technician in Kenya can also fit it for you.

Ideal Users & Use Cases

Ideal for professionals running the Dell Latitude 5300/5310 who need a fast, affordable fix for missing or unresponsive keys. This suits corporate travelers who value the compact 13-inch form factor and need the backlight for early flights or late meetings, IT departments maintaining a standardized Latitude 5300/5310 fleet, and consultants who type extensively and need reliable key response. Repair technicians servicing these compact business laptops will also find this part convenient to keep in stock.
